Meet the Owner

Sammie is a psychology graduate from the University of South Florida with a deep passion for child development, early childhood education, and the parent-child connection. As a mom herself, she discovered firsthand how impactful movement, music, and sensory play can be in supporting a child’s growth and confidence.

She created Sensory Studio as a welcoming space where children and their caregivers can connect through play-based learning and hands-on experiences.

Beyond her work in the community, Sammie is also a homeschooling mom to her son, who is entering second grade. She has embraced a play-based, child-led approach to learning, believing that hands-on exploration and creativity are the foundation for lifelong learning. Her journey as both an educator and a parent continues to inspire her mission to create meaningful, connection-filled learning experiences for children and families.
